Harmony supports the normal hormonal balance of your mare.
Harmony supports the seasonal and behavioral variation that may affect some mares and adversely influence their temperament and performance.
Harmony is a rapidly absorbed fast acting liquid extract. It contains only rich concentrated plant extracts, with no added fillers such as cider vinegar or honey.
Harmony contains pure tinctures of Chaste Tree (Vitex agnus-castus), Schisandra (Schisandra chinensis), St. Johns Wort (Hypericum perforatum) and Licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra).
Like all our products these tinctures are at a strength of 1:2 ; the strongest concentration available to the equine market.
v Supports endocrine function to regulate hormone levels
v Includes anti-depressant properties to cheer up moody mares
v Safe for long term and competition use
Equine Herbals Harmony offers a choice of short or long-term support for a mare’s endocrine function by supplying the highest liquid concentration of four herbs chosen to modulate hormone levels, aid the circulation of such hormones and to combat the mood swings often associated with a hormonal imbalance.
Chief of these three herbs is Chaste Berry, chosen for its hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian regulatory function thus supporting the mare’s endocrine function to reduce symptoms such as being in season for too long or not at all!
Harmony also includes Schisandra - a herb that is widely used to support liver function, and thus assists in controlling the balance of circulating hormone levels and likewise, Licorice is included to assist with adrenal exhaustion or dysregulation.
However the most common complaint among mare owners is that of ‘moodiness’.
Research demonstrates that the herb, Hypericum, has anti-depressant properties, acting to increase endorphin and serotonin levels.
Given that mood swings are observed to be the result of low endorphin and serotonin levels, Hypericum is included in Harmony to help brighten your mare’s disposition.
Understanding that mares continue to work or compete throughout their cycle, Equine Herbals’ Harmony does not contain any ingredients recognised to contravene the Jockey Club, FEI or BSJA rules regarding prohibited substances.
