V-Calm is designed to calm over anxious or nervous horses. It is widely used to settle young horses, during all types of training. It is particularly useful in helping to calm fractious horses in the stalls, for transportation or for disturbing events like shoeing or teeth inspection.

V-Calm does not effect the horse's judgement or cause drowsiness, and is safe to use whilst jumping and hunting. It is safe to administer even if the horse is already excited.

Sadly, because of its efficiency, Valerian is now tested for, so our V-Calm should not to be used for 24 hours prior to a competition or event where testing occurs.

V-Calm is a rapidly absorbed fast acting liquid extract. It contains only rich concentrated plant extracts, with no added fillers such as cider vinegar or honey.

V-Calm contains a pure tincture of Valerian (Valeriana officinalis).

Like all Equine Herbal products these tinctures are at a strength of 1:2 ; the strongest concentration available to the equine market.

NOTE : V-Calm has a 24 hour withholding period as it contains Valerian.
