Animal Communication

Animal Communication: To strengthen the relationship between a human and their animal

Catherine Edwards is a trained animal communicator.

What is animal communication?

Animal communication is a natural form of communication; it is a ‘feeling’ based language that all animals use to communicate both within and between species. 93% of the meaning of our communication is in non verbal communication. Body language, tone of voice etc. are all created by the feelings that we have.

Most animal owners or lovers will realise that animals have a great sense of awareness to their surroundings and fellow beings including us. How often does your dog know you are coming home before your car has pulled  into the drive, or your cat disappear on the morning that you are due to take it to the vets!

Animals obviously do not speak in the same way that humans do, but they are constantly trying to communicate with us.  As most humans are not able to understand an animals attempt to communicate with them, the animal assumes that humans are deaf!  Over the ages most humans have lost their ability to communicate with animals using our feelings.

As an animal communicator, I am able to tune into the animals thoughts and feelings, interpret those feelings and relay those back to the owner / carer. In addition, I am able to pass thoughts and feelings from the owner to the animal. This can give a valuable insight into what your animal is feeling, including any physical or emotional issues they may be experiencing, or just to deepen the bond and understanding between animals and their humans.

By understanding what is important to the individual animal, owners can devise the right solution to ensure sustained behaviour change, physical and emotional wellbeing. Most owners find an animal communication session an extremely rewarding experience both for themselves and the animal involved.

How does the communication take place?

Either by telephone (you will send me a photo) or face to face (I will visit your animal). I do not need to be physically with the animal to be able to undertake the communication, however, I would suggest that you contact me to discuss the most appropriate solution for your needs.

If the consultation is by phone, I will make an initial connection with the aimal prior to the call. I will then review this information with you – if you feel that I have made a good communication with your animal, then the communication will continue and you will be free to ask any questions that you like! In many cases, the animal guides the session. All will be explained in full at the time of booking.

Who would benefit from consulting an Animal Communicator?

Absolutely anyone that comes into contact with animals. This extends from a first time or experienced pet owner to animal professionals such as vets, trainers, behaviourists, rescue centre staff, etc. Common examples of where animal communication is useful include:

·        Behavioural or Physical problems;

·        Training issues;

·        Confidence issues (either with the animal or owner or both!);

·        To provide a better insight into the needs and thoughts of your animals;

·        To share information with your animal;

·        To prepare for a potentially stressful situation;

·        To help animals pass over into the next life.

How can Animal Communication Help Specific Physical or Emotional Problems?

By giving an owner / carer the ability to understand their animal’s behaviours and physical situations, the owner can understand the route cause of problems and try to eliminate them. In any relationship, really listening and understanding the perspective of each individual in the relationship (whatever the species) leads to greater awareness, resolution of differences and a more positive and fulfilling partnership.

My range of skills working with both animals and humans make me ideally suited to work with both the human and animal in either a one-off session or on an ongoing basis. Please do call for further information.
